Smith dan diproduksi oleh Smith, balada kencang ini dirilis sebagai singel kedua album 21 di Eropa. Lagu ini dirilis sebagai singel ketiga di Britania Raya pada 4 Juli 2011 dan menempati tangga lagu ke-11. Lagu ini menempati puncak tangga lagu di Belgia, Polandia, Belanda, Republik Ceko, Slowakia, dan Amerika Serikat. Lagu ini masuk 10 teratas di Austria, Kanada, Denmark, Finlandia, Perancis, Jerman, Irlandia, Italia, Selandia Baru, Norwegia, Afrika Selatan, dan Swiss. Menurut saya lagu ini menceritakan tentang kesedihan seseorang yang disakiti oleh kekasihnya tapi kekasihnya sendiri lah yang terkadang membahagiakannya. Namun biarpun sering disakiti, orang ini tidak dapat berpisah dengannya karena rasa cinta yang sudah begitu dalam.
